We look back at our favourite images of the month of October

October celebrated Black History Month, so we headed to Barclays’ headquarters in Canary Wharf to cover a panel discussion addressing the challenges facing black talent in the industry.

This snap is of Ken Osivwemu, Vice President Liquidity Product Management and Co-Chair of Barclays’ Black Professionals Forum, welcoming the panellists – made up of senior BAME leaders from Barclays, Bloomberg and KMPG – onto the stage.

Last month saw our picture team travel to Las Vegas, where they took this shot of DeAndre Esteen, Barclays Assistant Vice President of Community Relations. DeAndre volunteers at the CXWorks initiative – and reflects on why he feels “lucky” to mentor young people.

We interviewed neurologist Dr Nicola Modugno for our online magazine Parkinson’s Life. Dr Nicola organises a range of activities to help people with Parkinson’s stay active. This image was taken at a theatre class in Pozzilli, Italy.
