This month we feature the group of flaneurs unearthing ancient stories from the capital’s financial heart – and a storytelling evening focussed entirely on the topic of ‘wheels’.

Beyond Words: The Songs of Sign Language @ Kings Place, N1

This month, word lovers are offered the chance to experience the silent beauty of poetry through sign language. Featuring prominent sign-rapper SignKid, and actor Nadia Nadarajah, this free event is part of the Poetry & Lyrics Festival 2019 – offering a unique take on the usual spoken word events in London.

LFA2019 Word On The Fringe @ Aldgate Underground Station, EC3

Organised by The London Ambler – an urban storytelling collective – this walk will take any budding flaneurs around the very edges of the City of London, skirting through its ancient borders and unearthing the many untold stories buried deep within the financial heart of London.
