Barclays and Speak video content wins gold and silver at LENS awards
We’re delighted to share that Speak Media and Barclays have won two LENS awards, which recognise the best examples of visual corporate communications across the industry.
Speak Media and our longstanding client, Barclays, won gold in the ‘best animation’ category for a dynamic video encapsulating the bank’s approach to innovation, at an event organised by industry publication, Communicate magazine.
The team also picked up a silver award for ‘best use of video from the financial services sector’, recognising work on ‘Innovators of Barclays’ – a video series sharing colleague perspectives on creativity, new technologies and the bank’s activities.
Judges at the LENS awards praised “a great animation with real personality,” and highlighted the “wonderful use of sound design and colour”. They added that the ‘Innovators of Barclays’ series felt “authentic, upbeat and positive”.

Speak’s Head of Planning and Production, Paul Williams said the animation was a project “that underlines our belief in great collaborations; the whole is very much greater than the sum of its parts.”
