From sleep and sex to food and fitness to love and loneliness, the latest series of the Parkinson’s Life podcast covers it all. And now we’ve been shortlisted for an International Content Marketing Award.

Through its conversational format, the Parkinson’s Life podcast has been exploring what it’s like to live with the fastest growing neurological condition in the world for more than two years.

Reaching over 13,000 listeners, our global guests have covered everything from sleep and sex to food and fitness to loneliness and symptom control – as well as some of the mental health challenges that come with the condition.

Now the team is thrilled that series two has been shortlisted for ‘Best Branded Podcast’ at the 2021 International Content Marketing Awards.

Saskia Mair, editor of Parkinson’s Life, said: “We’re enormously grateful to our guests for generously giving their time to share their experiences in such an honest and open way. We’re looking forward to hearing more perspectives in our upcoming episodes.”

The Parkinson’s Life podcast is created by Speak Media in partnership with the European Parkinson’s Disease Association (EPDA).

Recognition for the latest series follows a previous award for the podcast, which won ‘Best Global Audio Campaign of the Year’ at the 2020 Global Content Awards.
