Speak has swept up two new trophies with Barclays at the 2021 Corporate Content Awards, winning silver for our long-term coordinated newsroom operation and another for content output during the pandemic.

Speak Media and our client Barclays took home two silver awards at the 2021 Corporate Content Awards, held at Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul’s in London, last night.

The evening saw the judges recognise both our ongoing ‘always on’ content collaboration with an award for ‘Best long-term use of content’ – and the output the team has sustained through the challenges of the past year, through a ‘Best corporate content during Covid-19’ award.

We’ve supported Barclays’ communications teams in telling the stories that matter since 2016 – establishing an effective, emotive and human approach, that has bolstered reach and engagement across the organisation’s channels.

The Corporate Content Awards demonstrate excellence in the strategy and delivery of corporate comms. Commenting on the standard of entries, Andrew Thomas, the awards founder, said: “All of this year’s winners have achieved high standards of creative work and excellent results in the delivery of their content.

“We congratulate all of them for their commitment to achieving the best communications through the use of content.”

“To be recognised in this way for delivering best-in-class content day in, day out is testament to the collaborative relationship we have built with the team at Barclays over many years,” said managing editor Laura Smith.

“We’re delighted to have now won eight awards for our work with the organisation. Thanks to all the colleagues who help us tell emotive stories on the themes that resonate with the bank’s audience."
